Hello, I’m Laura! Also known on social media as Laurent Spider.

I am an illustrator and graphic designer. Since I was a child I have always had a keen interest in visually expressing my imagination and ideas, and my family has always been supportive of nurturing that interest. After a journey I took outside of my country, I realized that I wanted to pursue this world that I’m so passionate about, that’s when I decided to study graphic design.

Throughout my years of study and professional practice, I have come to realize that what I am most passionate about is Illustration, design work in animation and visual development. The world of animation and all the behind-the-scenes aspects of an animated production have allowed me to engage with things I genuinely enjoy, such as visual development, storyboard creation, concept art, background design and character design. 

I love creating illustrations that inspire, connect and evoke emotions. I always seek to explore with colors and textures, drawing inspiration from everyday life or things that have influenced me, such as movies, series, books and video games. I am self-motivated and I like learning new things!

I currently live in Medellín, Colombia and work from my home studio for clients in different locations.
